The official trailer for The Hang Out has arrived, giving audiences their first taste of the blood, chaos and questionable decisions in Nightmare Narratives’ latest feature film.

Filmed in Denmark, Western Australia, The Hang Out follows a group of self-absorbed mates whose getaway turns deadly when a masked killer begins picking them off. With egos running high and common sense in short supply, staying alive proves harder than it should.

The film brings together Aussie humour, slasher tension and a cast of characters who are often their own worst enemies. The danger is real, the kills are brutal, and being hunted doesn’t stop anyone from getting distracted by their own problems.

For Nightmare Narratives, releasing the trailer is an exciting milestone, its a chance to finally share a glimpse of what our cast and crew have been working towards, from our two-week shoot in Denmark through to post-production.

We’re proud to bring another independently produced WA horror film to the screen, and we can’t wait for you to meet this lot.

Watch the official trailer below, share it with your mates, and follow Nightmare Narratives for screening announcements and updates.

Everyone’s dying to hang out.
